Sheep Dog’s Corner - Dec 04

Praise the Lord!

1Corinthians 5:1 speaks of, fornication in the church, among the members in the church. In 1: Corinthians 6:9, speaks of gay or lesbians, Idolaters, nor adultery, abusers, thieves, or greedy, nor lustful, nor extortionist, shall inherit the Kingdom of God.

God’s house is not a place to catch your next mate, nor is a place to play church. Some church goer’s go to church thanking that if they just attend a  church service, all is well, but all is not well. Jesus Christ came to save us all from our sins. We can’t label someone without looking deep within ourselves to the mess in us. We all need to be purged, the old leaven must come out, malice and wickedness must come out.

We need to be washed and sanctified; we need to be consecrated and dedicated to God. We need to find ourselves in bible study seeking more and more about our souls and seeking more and more of Jesus.

We all have gifts, and in the book of Romans 11:29, gifts and calling of God are without repentance, many are called few are chosen. God want’s all to come unto Him, but come knowing you need and want a change to take place inside of you, that only Jesus can do. Flee fornication; your body is to be the temple of God. Give your tithes and offerings to the Lord, and ask Him to increase your faith.

Start your new year, a new, it time for the church body to fast and pray, not sit and look for another way to run from God, you can’t, God is everywhere.

Don’t forget to repent.

Love you.

Praise the Lord!

When the day comes and you find yourself standing in the last courtroom of life– and the doors of the room swing shut– what do you feel will be the final verdict on your life? Romans 5:12, deals with the subject of condemnation through Adam and justification through Jesus Christ.

Love and blessings through Jesus Christ outweighs the misery and losses through Adam. The Bible teaches that all men are sinners by nature and by practice. Everyone born of human parents inherits Adam’s sin. Sin brings death– both physical and spiritual, and eternal separation from God. (Sin breaks relationship with God). Genesis 2:17, 3:6, 24

Adam’s sin affected the whole human race and all cultures of mankind. No one escapes. But God’s Love for all mankind– He sent His Son to pay an enormous cost to die as a substitute for a race of sinners from all cultures. Salvation from sin and its wages are offered as a free gift through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. The free gift from God abounds much more to many (I say “many” and not “the human race” because it is the “many” that will accept this free gift– the “many” that will accept Jesus Christ as their personal savior). The many who by faith will walk in obedience to the will of God? The free gift is the marvelous manifestation of the grace of God, again to race of sinners. It was amazing grace on the part of Jesus Christ to die for His rebellious creatures, and through His sacrificial death on the cross, the gift of eternal life is offered to many. Adam is the federal head of many sinners; Jesus Christ is the federal head of many who become members of the new creation.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature, a new creation in Jesus Christ. God’s mercy is showered on all; only those who trust in the Savior, Jesus Christ, appropriate His grace.

The sin of Adam brought inevitable judgment and the verdict was condemned. The free gift of Jesus, on the other hand, dealt effectively with many offenses, not just one, and resulted in the verdict “Acquitted.” Thank God He has pardoned you. Romans 6:1 what shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound. All believers have the responsibility to walk upright before God in all that we do, and we live and breathe according to His will. We have no free pass to sin.
Don’t take the gift of grace for granted.

Don’t forget to repent.

Love you.
